The Great Dunmow Carnival 2010 will take place on Saturday 18 September and the theme will be "FILMS'. One of the best Essex Carnivals with a free Family Fun Fair.

The procession starts at 1:30pm and proceeds through the High Street finishing at the Recreation Grounds. See the virtual route tour.

Everyone is welcome and traditionally Children and Visitors put money into the collection buckets, all profits of the Dunmow Carnival go toward Community Project.

After the Procession has passed through the Town Centre, visitors can make their way to the Recreation Grounds where you will find the Fun Fair and Amusements. There are also plenty of other attractions such as Stalls with games, competitions, food and teas.

The ever popular Beer Tent is at the top of the field next to the Dordan Pavilion.
