Judges had a difficult task when 14 girls turned up at the Dunmow Carnival procession committee's annual court selection evening. The girls who ranged in age from 9 to 16 were interviewed by compere Steve Good who asked questions about their favourite lessons and hobbies, pets and whether their mums were good cooks.! Felicity attends Ford End primary school, Sophie, who wants to be a movie make-up artist, attends St Mary's High School in Bishop's Stortford and Skye goes to Dunmow St Mary's primary. The girls first carnival attendance will be at Braintree carnival on June 12 followed by others across the county leading upto Dunmow's big day on September 18th.
